Wenn zwei starke Persönlichkeiten der heimischen Musiklandschaft wie Rina Kaçinari und Maria Craffonara zu einer neuen künstlerischen Kooperation zusammenfinden, darf man sich getrost der Vorfreude hingeben. Denn die Vielfalt und der Reichtum, aus denen sie dabei schöpfen dürfen, ist wohl bemerkenswert: Beide im Schmelztiegel verschiedener Kulturen und mehrsprachig aufgewachsen, beide zurückblickend auf jahrelange Bühnenerfahrung sowohl im klassischen Bereich als auch in spannenden Crossover Projekten und international erfolgreich tätigen Ensembles und Bands, beide sowohl in ihrer Stimme als auch am Streichinstrument zuhause, beide Komponistinnen, Texterinnen und Interpretinnen ihrer eigenen Werke.

MARIA CRAFFONARA & RINA KAÇINARI
Born in Brunico, Maria Craffonara trained at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and at the Hochschule in Vienna, where she studied singing and violin. As a member of the Viennese Donauwellenreiter group, she has taken part in various recordings and has played in America, Europe and Asia. In the last few years she has been developing her own solo projects, and is also artistic director of the Vokalensemble_2000.
Born into a family of musicians in Kosovo, Rina Kaçinari studied the cello at the Zagreb Academy and the Hochschule in Graz, and at the time also specialized in jazz at the A. Bruckner University in Linz. She was a member of the orchestra at the Maribor Opera House and in Vienna is still involved in numerous crossover projects.
