BALG – TENERI FRAMMENTI

Inspired by painter Karsten Kraft’s triptych “The Great Crucifixion”, Stadler offers a performance that deals with the subtle ramifications of grief and pain. Through a mixture of music, dance and video, the physical reality and extension of the experience of pain is constantly challenged by a series of images. The helpless body, revealed and hidden, is rejected and relegated to its human essence. The choreography, which is based on baroque and contemporary music scores for the organ, expands the concept of solo dance in the dialogue between live performance and video.
