THE BIRDCAGE
Quest’opera sperimentale di video-danza racconta le sofferenze di un giovane uomo e la sua sensazione di essere prigioniero del proprio corpo. Estraniato da un mondo che appare come una messa in scena, il protagonista vive isolato nel suo corpo immobilizzato. Nello sforzo di liberarsi si lancerà alla ricerca della perduta vitalità.

Emma Giuliani
Emma Giuliani is an Italian cinematographer based in Berlin. She started making films at the age of 5 in Auer/Ora and later decided to move to Berlin to pursue this passion. In 2022 she completed her Bachelor’s degree at Catalyst Institute for Creative Arts and Technology, gathering experience on more than 40 projects. She currently works as a freelancer in narrative, documentary and commercial projects.
She is particularly interested in movement and dance in film. Her graduation film “The Birdcage” will be screened at the Cyprus International Film Festival and thereafter at other venues worldwide.
