Franz Weger

He studied dance at the Dance Academy in Rotterdam, and worked in dance theatre in Bremen, at the Stadttheater in Giessen and at the Osnabrück Theater, as well as for various independent companies and theatres in Holland, Switzerland, Austria and Germany. In 2001 her returned to Alto Adige, where he cofounded the Tanzkooperative Südtirol, and the AlpsMove contemporary dance festival, dancing in numerous productions and creating original works for dance theatre, especially with Mariatullia Pedrotti, his wife, with whom he also began teaching Tango Argentino in 2003. Since 2020 he has also been busy as a singer and composer with the Untypisches Orchestra.
